About

My wife Amanda and I started Project Serafina after our daughter Serafina Diana Reilly was born premature at 20 weeks on November 23rd 2019. She passed away shortly after. My wife and I are grateful for the time we had with her and getting to hold her. Today we live our lives for her and for all the babies out there who are lost too soon. we hold a special place in our hearts for not only these precious babies, but the parents who must endure the unbearable pain of losing them.

Being a writer, I was seeking places to submit my writing and soon realized that there really wasn’t a home for pregnancy loss related fiction, poetry, and things on the subject. The Serafina Project was born.

I hope to make this a home for parents who want to share their stories to help others get through their own. In terms of writers who want to submit their pregnancy and pregnancy loss material under our other sections, feel free to submit as well. Reading stories, poetry and more can be an uplifting endeavor. This can be a place for people who are going through pregnancy traumas whether that means they’re submitting their writing, or they’re a parent/family member suffering a loss.
